This is the stuff you've been waiting for.

So many theatre companies turn up to events to find a fire officer waiting to check their health and safety schemes. While most have the insurances and risk assesments in place, it is not unusual to hear that they have over looked the fire protection - something that the people at the Edinburgh Festival take very seriously. With this stuff you can spray your scenary, prop and costumes and comply fully, while keeping your cast and crew safe.

But it does not have to be exclusively for stage use. it can be used around the home, especially in front of fire places, kitchen fabrics and such like.

Basically, if you think there's a risk of a flame getting too close to something it really shouldn't, why not spray a bit of this over the area to protect things. As ever, a few quid spent now can really save a lot of grief later. msl Firecheck™ is a new, water-based fire proofing spray that has been developed for msl Firecheck by a leading UK fire retardancy research establishment. msl Firecheck will treat any water absorbent material. It has a non-toxic formula so no specialist equipment is required for application.

Very economical. 1 litre covers between 10-12m2 Firecheck™ can treat many natural fabrics including; cotton, wool and cotton back draylon.

Synthetic fabrics include nylon and mixed fibres such as cotton/polyester. Firecheck™ can also be used to fire proof scenic flats before painting or alternatively when using powder or concentrated scenic paints use Firecheck to dilute instead of water.

Passed BS 5852: 1990 for both natural and synthetics such as polyester and draylon.

Passes BS 5867: part 2: 1980 on both natural and synthetic fibres.

Also available as a 5l carton

It is often known as Flame Bar or Fire Check fluid, as well as flame retardant spray or fire retardant spay, but, what ever you decide to call it, this is the best stuff for fire proofing or the stuff to use if you're asked for fire stopping materials.
